ReGenesis got more :)s than NCIS, amazing! Canada has that kind of power, it's true. Also, Ellen Page.

HOUSE got more :)s than NCIS! Clearly we have to talk. And your XD to Torchwoood makes me laugh with glee; I am positively clapping my hands over here.
well OK, I up(?)graded NCIS (and Grey's) to XD. the point is: NCIS is clearly a *bad* show. but in the best way.

TORCHWOOD! why aren't you online? in fact I'm not convinced that Torchwood isn't actually a very good show, but as advertised I love it far too much to determine this conclusively.
I'm not sure Studio 60 is better than stabbing yourself in the eye. At least, I know my eyes were begging for a stabbing the last time I watched it.
*humanitarian stabs*
Yay, I'm not the only Slings & Arrows fan out there! I adore that show. I haven't seen the 3rd season yet but I am SO in love with Ellen.
it is LOVE. do you have the 3rd season? I can share.
Dude, for real? I have been having the WORST LUCK trying to get the 3rd season. Sundance is showing it now but I swear we've been cursed - we tried to Tivo the first episode and our Tivo freaked out and recorded the wrong channel.

THEN we tried AGAIN when they reran it and our Tivo caught it but something must've been wrong with the cable just then because every 30 seconds the sound would cut out for five seconds or so.

There would be much with the appreciation if you could share. I may not even need the whole thing - we can still catch what they show on Sundance (if we aren't cursed again) but it doesn't look like they're showing the first episode again.
yes! so how do you want it, is the question. since there are only six episodes, should I just megaupload them to you? or do you still just need the first one? email address?
We've been tivoing it as its been showing on Sundance, so at this point I think I'll only need the first one, since that's the one we couldn't manage to get a good copy of. If you could megaupload it for me that would be lovely. My email is pw@pocketwitch.net.

Thank you so very, very much! Squee!
megaupload it on it's second try right now -- holler if you don't get it!
I am downloading it now! Thank you so very much!
I so need to get my hands on South of Nowhere and Rome - once I have time. I remain ridiculously annoyed that they've cancelled Sugar Rush, too. Siiiigh.
I know, wtf!? South of Nowhere is like crack, though. *pets*
we just started big love! it is so good.
YAY!
Binge-watching Six Feet Under, my housemate and I were seduced by the previews for Big Love. Your recommendation cinches the deal.
hurrah! be seduced! it is strangely brilliant.
I really want to snuggle a basket of baby bunnies while my personal army of robots feeds me cupcakes with buttercream frosting and sprinkles now.

Though maybe I'll just watch the last episode of Doctor Who again. Because that *was* better.

And I really have to get around to watching BSG... :)

don't we all! (omg I snuggled a baby Husky puppy on the street yesterday and I'm STILL, like, vibrating. I have almost the same reaction to Torchwood!)
Hee! pretty...

and you need a rating symbol for 'brothers doing it!' *g*
I think you're projecting! SISTERS doing it, on the other hand...

I have a confession to make: I have come to hate Peter Petrelli LIKE BURNING. he is a creature made of PURE EMO. our new slogan is "Kill the Manpain, Save the World." the only character I hate more than him is Mohinder.

I want to see your Peter haircut, though!
Baby, there's very little to redeem Heroes. I honestly don't understand what the non-brothersdoingit crowd get out of it. You're a little behind, so you have seen out, "Pasdar goes and I'm outta here," post.

Also, Peter Petrelli hair is *gone* like something that has really, really gone. ;) I now have Olivia circa season 3 hair - but it's already growing out... *sigh* needs another cut.
perhaps we just aren't "evolved" enough to appreciate Heroes. *snark*

omg I want to see THAT hair! so butch!
There's some pics here. Not very good. I keep trying to take *good* ones.

I am *so* butch. ;)
adorable! you look like a huge dyke. though I like the Peter Petrelli emo!hair too. [info]_plasticity_ and I think that his hair, Nathan's scar, and Claire's dad's glasses should totally have their own spinoff.
I love how organised your tv watching is ;p Grey's used to be on my happy list, too bad it's gone completely nuts as of late. ugh to Izzie and George. Lucky the girls the matter are still hot.

Heroes is like stabbing yourself in the eye with a hot fire iron.
Still haven't watched: Rome or BSG. No TV love in my life, ever since Veronica Mars broke my heart by jumping the shark so early :( I've started watching...Reality tv. ew.

The last west wing episode is finally airing in australia this saturday. ha.
YAY TEEVEE!

I'm glad there's somebody else who dislikes Heroes! George and Callie needs to end desperately, so I'm all for Izzie and George. and Callie and Addison!
HAHA! Dude, you like Dexter! I thought I was the only person on the planet in britain who'd ever heard of it. (And yes, I know you're not in britain, but I tend to forget people elsewhere have different viewing experiences!)

Also, I am sad you do not like Heroes as much as me. For it has Hiro and Hiro is awesome. But I forgive you as my love for it is quite possibly based more on my love of comic books - and it being the only show I have someone else to watch with who likes it as much as I do - than the actual quality level of the show.
we LOVE Dexter here in the US of A!

if Heroes could be ONLY about Hiro/Ando and Nikki/Jessica, I would love it MADLY. but the other 80% suffers from the Lost syndrome of being entirely driven by insufferable men.
...eh, fair comment. My guilty secret is I actually quite like Passholedar and don't find Peter as annoying as I really, really know I should. Also, most recent post on my blog is kind of a comparison between Heroes and Women in Refrigerators (you know that comic site, right?)

Interestingly, usually my way of getting into a TV show is a character I love. Even though I was always a fan of Hiro, for a long time, I didn't really like Heroes for that. Weirdly, I liked it for the everything-is-connected plot. Which was cheesy, but...in a good way, I guess. ;) I think that's why I don't blog about it much. There's not quite enough character love because...well, see women in refrigerators. And not enough Hiro.

Also, Lost. Ugh. ;)
I'm a little sad that you don't love Heroes. I also think that Veronica Mars deserves an XD and I'm really sad that you don't watch Friday Night Lights! I can't recommend that show enough. It would get like, three XD's.
neither Heroes nor Lost, which are similarly structured shows, do it for me. I think because this extended network style involves a lot of irritating angst between irritating men (perhaps not necessarily, but in practice), and very few interactions between women. if it could ALL be Kate/Juliet and Nikki/Jessica, I'd be SO THERE.

Veronica Mars is a whole different problem -- mostly that I found Veronica sort of Mary Sue-ish (too perfect). after much soul-searching I realized that I prefer my teen girls innocent and vulnerable (there are very few teen dramas that I CAN watch, however -- mostly just the lesbian ones).

I'm put off of Friday Night Lights for the obvious reasons, but so many people I know LOVE it that I'm sure I'll be persuaded to watch it at some point.

mmmmm, TV...
this is the first time I've seen this list and I looooove it and might copy it in my own LJ.

and I know I've said it before but it's worth repeating. I love your hatred of manpain. there should be more people like us in the world.
